Suez Canal Authority (SCA) always pay attention to its customers ‘best interest
to be the first choice for ships of all kinds.
Meeting with current challenges facing global maritime market due to outbreak
of (COVID-19), Suez Canal Authority (SCA) has issued circular no 4/2020 to
grant LPG carriers loaded or in ballast operating between (the American Gulf,
India and its eastern ports) the following reductions :
1. West of India up to port of Kochi. A reduction of 24% of Suez Canal normal dues.
2. East of port of Kochi just up to port of Singapore. A reduction of 60% of Suez Canal normal dues.
3. Singapore and its eastern ports. A reduction of 75% of Suez Canal normal dues.
This circular takes effect as of 01/04/2020 for 3 month as an experimental period.
